Professional Experience

Jamie is an experienced tax practitioner who specialises in advising corporate groups with international operations. He has over 20 years’ experience in dealing with UK and international aspects for businesses and always strives for the delivery of excellent client service.

Jamie has vast experience in dealing with both advisory projects and compliance requirements for a range of different businesses, including owner managed, private equity and large national and international groups. In particular, he has significant exposure in advising UK and international companies on both domestic and international financial reporting and statutory tax compliance obligations and dealing with corporate group expansion planning and group reorganisation projects.

He always looks to work closely with businesses to understand the business and commercial objectives and then use his experience to deliver bespoke tax advice as efficiently as possible.

His industry experience covers a broad range of sectors including automotive, engineering, leisure, industrial manufacturing and universities & educational institutions.

The most enjoyable part of his job is engaging with clients and colleagues across all sectors and departments and making a difference to them either through sharing technical or personal experiences.

Prior to joining PKF Francis Clark, Jamie worked in Yorkshire and the South West for large international accountancy firms, advising on corporate tax compliance reporting and domestic and international tax advisory for medium and large businesses.

Jamie’s interests outside of work mainly revolve around trying to keep fit through running, walking, wild water swimming and gardening! He also tries to watch a bit of local sport, mainly football and rugby. He says that the top two most fun things he has ever done is play football professionally in his teens and a 180 mile cycle ride with his siblings across the width of the UK.
