What were the challenges?
We were appointed by a substantial global hotel group to assist them with their ambitious international expansion plans which included helping them to meet the compliance challenges associated with opening new hotel properties across two continents.
How did we overcome these challenges?
By bringing together the combined expertise of, initially, five of our PKF firms we were able to offer the client a compliance-based solution comprising of audit, accounting, and taxation services that really helped them ensure that they fully met and complied with local requirements which was of critical importance to them. But perhaps more importantly, our client was able to benefit from a single point of contact solution for all their international operations, while at the same time having access to local experts in each country who were always available to provide advice and act as a sounding board for issues that naturally occur as part of international expansion.
