What were the challenges?
Galliford Try (GTI) is one of the UK’s leading housebuilding and construction groups, undertaking projects in both the public and private sectors in areas such as transport infrastructure, health centres and school buildings. With such a diverse array of projects and ever-changing delivery structures, GTI needed a team that was able to advise on winning strategies for achieving successful bids, as well as then assisting with completion of the projects.
How did we overcome these challenges?
Our Infrastructure & Renewables team works with GTI throughout its deal processes: from the early stages of the financial model, through to collaboration with GTI’s client, its advisers and the funders, to financial close. The market is continually changing, and delivery structures change from project to project in line with evolving accounting requirements and a shifting funding market. We have ensured we are constantly up to date and responsive to these changes so that we have always provided GTI with the most accurate advice and a seamless transition from one project structure to another.
What impact did we have?
We support GTI by acting as not only accountants and financial advisers, but also strategic thinkers. By embedding ourselves in the company’s culture and strategy, we have been able to sit alongside GTI and explain its approach as well as the detail of the models to its clients
