The report is compiled from the responses of a representative cross section of 644 hotels representing 100,879 rooms. It is the most comprehensive guide to the performance and prospects of Britain’s hotel industry.

The survey includes statistics of occupancy, average room rate and yield for all hotels and breaks down the data according to geographical region, hotel size and rate band, together with associated commentary with expert outside contributors.

The survey also looks at the political, economic and tourism influences affecting the industry along with a review of property matters, hotel transactions in excess of Ł7m, and commentary on new hotel properties throughout Britain.
